ARIGATOH BRIAN KOBAYASHI ISAO!

met up with him together with celine and myself over at tampines starbucks outlet to sit, chill and chat of course. he gave us gifts from Narita Airport, japan and it cost a bomb to him please. i mean the amount of money he spend on all the gifts for us, his work mates and friends in Singapore must have caused  a hole in his pocket. aw man. you shouldnt have though.

appreicate the kind thought brian! and yes, the banana cake was fabulous. REAL BANANA PASTE. plus japanese tea leaves. thank you brian! it was a fruitful meetup session.

and off i rush down to work once more. sir roger said that we are behind sales by 2k before the closing of budet for this month. and amazingly, last night sales hit a record of 3,700$, nearly hitting 4k. this means the staff working today can eat snake already. awesome! well done team!

and of course, i sure had hell lots of fun talking to the members and joking around with them till the wee hours of the morning plus drinking of whiskey and brandy, i sure love my job!

wooooooohooooooooooooooooooo !

and damn it, my jet printer is not printing out papers. currently dad and i have to put all paper work on hiatus.

but than again, thank you pamela classmate for helping me to print the notes. !

condemn andrea chew for all you want. ultimately, he will still loves you. i mean not that kind of relationship love love but that love. you know what i mean.

listen

June 27, 2008 · No Comments

today’s Apel lesson was on the topic on listening and the power and act of listening. i guess somehow its good to voice out individuals sorrows  and frustration through a listening ear. it always feels good and self-satisfying. rather than going to the beach and scream all my lung outs. BIG WOOP.

and then again, business etiquette presentation was somewhat a little screwed though. the Internet got jammed and the music online cannot be buff. moreover, imeem had to revamp through a maintenance check in the midst of the presentation and therefore i had to seek alternate songs on youtube instead during the 20 minute presentation on China. BIG WOOP !

second of all, the classroom screen is super pathetic to the extent the whole screen wasnt intact and instead we had to present onto a whiteboard as our background screen.

thirdly, i had to use mr. fernando’s laptop to visualise our slides and than again  the heading fonts all were re changed to arial font and some words and statements were seen overlapping one another.

BIG WOOOPPPPP!

the team felt that it was a cocky presentation and not the best that we had done either. BIG WOOOP.

so had beancurd and pancakes over at Mr. Bean together with celine, eileen and chester earlier on and it was very fulfilling i must say. at least i manage to pour out all my unhappiness, sorrows, frustration, anger and all the so-not-andrea-kind-of-attitude to them. i’m proud to have them as my listeners! course they are WILLING TO without any cost.

and we talk about random topics under the bright twinkle twinkle little stars.

and besides, i realise lately that people in the cohort have been giving a hallow effect on to ANDREA CHEW CHUAN KAI. and rumours have been spreading real real quick i must say. even to the expense that i know them myself. isnt that amazing or what? but then again, i would like to tell the ‘’spreaders” that please kindly get your facts and information right before making and jumping into conclusion about me alright. i’m not mad and its not worth for me to get angry over what you people had done. ITS NOT WORTH ON MY PART EITHER.

but just to let you know that whatever goes around, comes around. and a gentle reminder as well, please do not assume that just because i dont smile to you in particular nor greet you doesnt mean i dont acknowledge your presence. its not true. in addition, doesnt mean that i ask you so many questions during Q&A session means that i’m shooting at you directly or indirectly. i swear that i have no any other form of ill-intention to do that. i ask constructive questions and pose thoughts in any Q&A session and its for my benefit to learn more rather than condemning to you.

and if you think that i’m being a bastard or a fucker, please feel free to think it that way as you wish. and if you think that i’m being arrogant and proud and a show off king in the cohort, think it that way as you wish course really, theres nothing that i can do to stop you from thinking that way. and if you feel that you dont like me, in the first place, i did not even tell you that you must like me at all.

lastly, people who knows me deep down, outside-in only appreciates me for who i am and certainly, if you have not been with me in any form of relationship, you have failed to understand me and i urge you not to spread any and stop spreading rumours that are not true. its childish, rude and of course you obviously do not have any respect for yourself and the other party as well.

forget about everything with a good friday night’s rest. awesome!

the southern palms team

LADIES AND GENTLEMAN, I BRING TO YOU,

THE SOUTHERN PALMS , DISCOVER MODERNISM

capturing the essence of education, entertainment and environment of modern times,

seriously, though yesterday presentation was pretty intense and competitive, i felt that all groups did well in delivering their project. and holy crap man, i swear i didnt know that we didnt include the pricing of the private villas inside the report. apparently, i told ms maggie seow that we have forgotten to include that in our report during the Q&A session. damn, i should have said that there were no prices for that because upon meeting our clients/ guest, we can negotiate the prices of villas during their stay with us.thus, prices are not included inside the report ( that response came from mr. daniel barker after i told him that and he gave me his answer to that question which ms seow had post) o man.

but anyway, though we were the first group to present, we had 2 technical defaults during our presentation. our songs did not play before the start of the slides and we had to wait for the Internet to buff for 4 minutes before we begin our presentation and second of all, jackson’s laptop all of a sudden fell into hibernation in the midst of our presentation. goodness. thank God we manage to impromptu it out. IN all, the team was very nervous inside, but calm and posh on the outside of course!

man, i swear i love my group members. the awesome and wackiest bunch i’ve worked.

Andrea, William, Mitchell, Raudah, Jackson

meet ups

June 19, 2008 · No Comments

in the end, it became a threesome cast meetup between eunice ‘awesome’, tracy ‘ ba-chang taitai’ and me of course. met up with eunice over at my place station before train-ing down to marina square. after a couple of walking, our tummies were calling for food already. so we pick up tabs over at pizzahut outlet at marina square and once again i met up with the awesome service supervisor May once more! awesomeee.

while waiting for the Empress to arrive, eunice and myself got to hungry that we couldn’t take it and we just order sides first to ease the hunger in us. and without the calling out of the empress arrival, phooo that comes ourba chang tai tai and officially we started dining our main course only at 1.30pm.

dine dine halfway- there’s this pink and blakc strip top girl with glasses on and a gold butterfly chain around her neck came knocking against the window where i sat( apparently, my back was facing against the window so i couldn’t see who that was intitally.) it was only after Eunice who told me to turn around that i got a shocked of my life that i actually saw

NOT A GHOST IN THE DAYLIGHT ON THE SIDE WALKS OF MARINA  SQUARE OF COURSE,

BUT I SAW AUDREY CHOO JIA EN! goodness me. and she can giggle outside like nobody business with her group of friends. though i cant really hear how loud she could be laughing outside. hah.

after having a great lunch express at pizzahut, we walk around suntec to digest our food before snappingshots to bid our threesome farewell! (it wasnt a farewell afterall, course the taitai’swere still window shopping for this Great Singapore Sale Season now)

more outing to come cast!

after which, had high tea with bff felicia over at Ministry Of Food, a Japanese dining concept which served very good Japanese desert i must say!

had this i-dont-know-what-you-call-it desert with riceball, a large serving of red bean paste and green tea ice cream. and goodness it was simply JAPAN-ICIOUS PLEASE!

the salmon salad was just awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww shiok of course. i think i’m gonna hang there and chill often already. course my favourite desert happens to be there of course. bang! goooooooooooooo BBF’S!

and i still got a  crooked stick dinner with to attend later. not dinner. SUPPER to be exact that takes place at midnight. more updates to come people.

KSLRK, it was a moment of shock-ness that i had faced this afternoon. but still, was that meant to a coincidence? i really dont know. God Knows Everything.
