 a mother, a sister, a sole motivator

It’s almost 3 years now that Aunty j have been working for us in this family of 5. A pillar of support in our lives, she has always been there for us in any circumstances.  with different hats to wear and roles to play each day, aunty j is indeed like a mother to us three little kids, a great sister to my mummy and a sole motivator to daddy’s daily life. Without her, life in the chew family will be dull, boring and dreary. It’s her constant smile and happy- going character that floods this family spirit. She’s just awesome please and there’s nothing more i can ask from her.

shes the youngest sibling in her family of 3. her parents unfortunately passed away when she was just 5 only. living in a dilapidated slum like condition in the past, life wasnt smooth sailing for her family. her elder brother works hard every single day to support his only two kins. life was tough. but it was the determination and the love that kept them going.

mummy decided to take her in. on an account that she had a high school certificate, where she is able to coach my sister in mathematics and english and also for her sad history. and there we have here until today.

though there were ups and downs at times in the family, it certainly did not dampen nor damage this everlasting love. i always make it a point to spend time with aunty j and of course talk to her so that she wouldn’t feel lonely at times. she must have miss her family and friends back home in the Philippines. oh man. that kind of feeling is certainly not good. no ones love to feel that way. no one please.

know what’s aunty j most precious possession in life? its the letter and pictures sent by her family and friends mailed from the Philippines. awwwwwwwwww, my heart just melts with time when i heard that. its the precious and sweetest thing i’ve ever heard in my life. she appreciates every single element in life.

appreciate with what you have. dont take things for granted and of course, love the people around you. Only then, will you be a contented, blessed and grateful soul in life!
